When can I play?
Rivetluck is coming soon to iPhone. There is no download link yet. The initial version includes three six-shift orders with targets of 75, 90 and 100 points, in English and Simplified Chinese.
How do I start?
Choose an order on Home and tap Start. All three targets use the same rules, and none requires an unlock. Draw a piece, then tap a highlighted rail that can fit its full length. Pieces cannot be split, moved after placement or exchanged.
How does the bag work?
Each shift begins with four pieces of length 1, four of length 2 and four of length 3. The bag is shuffled and draws are without replacement. The three visible counts show what remains after each draw. A new shift gets a new bag and empty rails.
Where does the +4 come from?
Each occupied cell is worth 1 point. Filling one six-cell rail adds 4 points, so that rail is worth 10. Filling both rails automatically locks 20 points. Otherwise, tap Lock this shift after placing to add the pending score to the locked total.
Why can’t I lock after drawing?
Drawing commits you to that piece. You must place it before you can lock the shift. If neither rail has enough room, the shift ends for zero. Earlier locked scores remain safe; there is no penalty to your existing best records.
What does “Next piece fits” mean?
It is the number of remaining pieces that fit at least one rail, divided by all pieces left in the bag. For example, 5 / 7 describes the next draw only. It is not the probability of winning the order and does not promise that later draws will fit.
What happens after I reach the target?
Keep playing until all six shifts are finished. A total at or above your selected target completes the order. The final receipt lists each shift. Your best score and completed mark are saved when the sixth shift settles, even before you open the receipt.
Can I leave in the middle?
Yes. Continue order returns to the same phase, drawn piece, bag and score. Restarting the app does not replace a known piece or reshuffle the current shift. Starting a different unfinished order requires confirmation; your best scores remain.
Can I reset or change the settings?
Settings and help contains language, sound and haptic controls and the rules. Confirm Reset saved progress to clear the current order, best scores and completed marks. Language, sound and haptic preferences remain. Reset is permanent.
Does it work offline and with larger text?
Gameplay works offline and has no timer or required motion gesture. The interface supports larger text with scrolling, and can be played with Reduce Motion enabled. Sounds and haptics have separate switches. Website links and support email need an internet connection.
Where are my scores?
Records stay on this iPhone. There is no login or cross-device synchronization, and deleting the app may remove your local progress. We do not hold a server copy of your saved orders.
